Why Samara?

 

Samara is the botanical name for a seed with wings. As a kid you may have known these maple and elm tree seeds as "whirligigs" or "helicopters." If you're like us, you still play with the winged seeds and enjoy watching them spin down from their branches.  

 

We believe a samara is a perfect example of the energy and potential for growth which exists within every living creature.  Plus we simply think it's fun.
