​Samara Wellness is the practice of Doctor Aaron Peterson.  Aaron received his undergraduate degree with honors from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN and his Chiropractic Doctorate with honors from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to serving the community through Chiropractic.

 

Immediately after graduating from Northwestern, Aaron continued his education at Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic and is certified by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association. In addition to his own practice, Aaron returned to Options for Animals where he taught chiropractic technique for several years to veterinarians and chiropractors from around the world. He now lives near Crested Butte and has been working with animals in Colorado for nearly a decade. While his focus has been with performance horses, he also loves working with small animals and enjoys the opportunity to adjust other critters whenever possible.

 

When not working, Aaron spends time with his wife and son, typically playing somewhere in the mountains. He is an avid skier, runner, and rock climber, and he will likely be surpassed by his kiddo in all of those activities very soon. In the winters Aaron enjoys moonlighting as a backcountry ski guide and avalanche instructor.
